Vladivostok - Terney - river Kema - Malaya Kema - Ussuriysk - Vanino port - Kholmsk - Korsakov - Aniva lighthouse - Korsakov - Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk
The southern side of the Sikhote-Alin mountain range and Sakhalin island. We shall raft down the Kema River through the autumnal forests of the Primorye going towards the shore of the Sea of Japan—this was the route of the legendary trek undertaken by Arsenyev and Dersu Uzala. We shall go by train from Vladivostok to Vanino, all across the Primorye. Then we shall take the ferry to Sakhalin. And follow the tracks of the abandoned Japanese railway. Our hiking trail along the Aniva Bay shall take us to the legendary Aniva lighthouse.
